This Code of Conduct sets out guidelines for how we are to behave towards customers, suppliers, the authorities and other stakeholders. It applies to all employees at Stjerne-Chrom.

01.Introduction

Stjerne-Chrom has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 for many years.

We joined the Global Compact in 2023 and would like to encourage all our business partners to do the same.

Stjerne-Chrom has systematically reviewed all the Sustainable Development Goals and, on the basis of our activities and value chain, has selected 4 where we feel we can contribute most to sustainable development.

6
Clean water
and sanitation
Stjerne-Chrom works purposefully on reusing water in production and discharges our process wastewater far below the discharge limits in our wastewater permit.
7
Affordable and
clean energy
A climate ambition to produce as much energy on the premises as possible for our own consumption. We work purposefully to phase out fossil fuels for heating before 2030, and to make our production as energy-efficient as possible.
8
Decent work
and economic growth
We are working to introduce robotic technology in areas of production and, together with our employees, towards a good and safe working environment — including the prevention of accidents in both the psychological and physical working environment.
12
Responsible consumption
and production
We sort, handle and dispose of waste with the waste hierarchy in focus — reuse, recycling and energy recovery in that order. From 2023 we report on relevant ESG key figures referred to in section 99a of the Danish Financial Statements Act.
