Quality, environmental and occupational health and safety policy

Stjerne-Chrom A/S is a modern and responsible chemical surface treatment company with a sharp focus on delivering high quality. We organise our processes with consideration for the surrounding environment and ensure a good and safe working environment for our employees.

We place great emphasis on delivering well-documented and consistent quality products to our customers that meet their specific requirements, and we work in accordance with internationally recognised standards such as ISO, MILTEK and ASTM. We always take pride in delivering at the agreed time, so that our customers' expectations are also fully met in this respect. Stjerne-Chrom has its own laboratory, where thorough tests and product inspections are carried out. Our process verification is intended to ensure consistent quality for our customers, and it helps to optimise the processes so that the environmental impact is reduced with regard to the consumption of chemicals, energy and water. The product inspections are determined in close dialogue with each individual customer and include, for example, salt spray testing, coating thickness measurements, wear testing or other forms of measurement intended to ensure that we meet our customers' requirements for the individual product. We carry out environmental and occupational health and safety assessments when purchasing machinery and planning new processes, and we strive to continuously reduce our CO2 emissions.

In dialogue with our employees, we ensure good well-being and a safe working environment. The objective is zero workplace accidents, and we focus on the safe handling of chemicals and components in production. We work to prevent ergonomic problems and keep ourselves up to date on developments in processes and materials in order to minimise the use of substances that are harmful to the working environment.

We work continuously to improve our services, production facilities and production processes, both in terms of quality, environmental impact and the working environment – and we naturally comply with applicable environmental and occupational health and safety legislation. This policy and our management system apply to all of Stjerne-Chrom's employees, who are obliged to follow the procedures of the system, comply with the provisions of the legislation and work to improve the effectiveness of the management system.
